The Leone Holdsworth Memorial Trophy

for Trainer of the Year

in honour of his wife, Leone.

Leone was a founding member of TrackWest. She achieved many successes with her own dogs, German Shepherds, and was always willing to share her knowledge to help others achieve in our sport. Leone contributed a lot to TrackWest including as a trainer and committee member. Her passion for training both her dogs and others make her the perfect person to honour for our Trainer of the Year Trophy. Leone is greatly missed.

Criteria

Trainers volunteer their time to pass on their knowledge and help members and their dogs grow and achieve in this sport. Members have the chance to show their appreciation by nominating their trainer for “Trainer of the Year”. The nominee is a person who is a TrackWest trainer and has taken group training throughout the preceding season.
